With the onset of October at the latest it is time for warm colors, long walks among colorful leaves, hot cocoa, candles and cozy evenings. ARDENT AUTUMN was designed to accompany you during this season, to keep you warm and to bring color into the darker and shorter days.

This triangular shawl is worked from the top down. Its simple but intriguing cable pattern is fun to knit and easy to wear. ARDENT AUTUMN is a perfect project to learn how to cable for beginner knitters and a enjoyable, mindless knit for the advanced knitter.

GAUGE

17 sts and 26 rows = 10cm / 4" in cable pattern. Measured after washing without stretching the fabric.
For this project an exact gauge is not crucial; you will still get a lovely shawl when your gauge is a few stitches or rows off. Yet gauge swatching is still recommended.
